Reservation Fee (ESB Boats Only)

A reservation fee of €300 is required to confirm an ESB boat order (SunnyCat and EB 450). This fee is deducted from the final purchase price.

The reservation fee is non-refundable if the customer decides not to proceed with the purchase.

Cancellation Before Production

Customers may cancel their reservation before production begins without additional charges. However, the reservation fee will not be refunded.

Once production has started, cancellations are no longer permitted, and the reservation fee remains non-refundable.

Order Changes

Order modifications are allowed only before production begins. After this stage, changes may not be possible or may require a new agreement.

Returns

Boats (custom production – ESB boats)

As ESB boats (SunnyCat and EB 450) are produced to order, returns are not accepted once production has started or the product has been delivered, except in cases covered by warranty or applicable consumer protection laws.

Electric Motors & Accessories

Standard products such as electric motors, batteries, and boating accessories are covered by a standard return policy in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, unless otherwise stated.

Returns may be refused if:

  • the product has been used or installed
  • the product is not in original condition or packaging
  • the issue is covered under warranty terms rather than return eligibility

Warranty

Warranty coverage applies to products as follows:

  • Electric motors: 24 months
  • Batteries: 24 months
  • Boats: 5 years

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper installation, modifications, or normal wear and tear.

For electric motors, the following underwater and impact-exposed components are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • propeller
  • propeller dome
  • rear dome
  • skeg

These parts are considered consumable or wear-prone components and are subject to operating conditions.

General Notes

  • ESB boats (SunnyCat and EB 450) are treated as made-to-order products and follow reservation-based project terms.
  • Reservation fees and production-start rules apply only to ESB boat orders.
  • All other products follow standard consumer protection regulations.
